Strolling Peacock Lane

Take care of all your memories. For you cannot relive them. -Bob Dylan

Favorite things about this Christmas time activity:

+ Beautiful old homes all decked out for the holidays

+ If it’s dry out, it’s such a short lane that the lights and decorations are best viewed on foot.

+ Free hot chocolate & Apple Cider (donations are appreciated)

+ Family time spent out of doors – having family with us while doing this makes it that much more memorable. This year we were joined by Ronald, Laura, Abi and Ellie but got separated from them because of a time crunch and massive crowds. I was so glad Andreia joined us this year as well, she was such a help with the boys. Had she not been there these photos wouldn’t have happened.

Things I learned

+ go after Christmas, the lane is open until the 31st of December. The crowds that were there made it really hard to stop and appreciate the scenery and especially hard for people like me who wanted to photograph a lot.

+ parking was easy, we got there right before lights go on at 6pm and parked one block away in a neighborhood.
