One of my favorite little spots to go to is this little park in the Pearl District known as Jamison Square. The park has a great fountain that in the summer is the joy of many little ones including my son Seth. It’s so much fun to splash in the water as it cascades very gently so that the kids can have fun with out the risk of an injury. For the last few years this has been one of the main places I try to get to almost weekly in the summer and only a little less in the winter. With the kids this park is even more of a temptation for me because it is surrounded by cafes, restaurants, gelato shops and baby boutiques, this mothers dream strolling destination.
We were there less than a week ago on one of the warmest days thus far in June and we had so much fun. Of course the park was packed and so much so that some really good friends were sitting only a few feet away yet I didn’t even notice them until we were getting ready to leave. We usually only last about 2-3 hours and then the boys need to get home for a nap. But I have to admit that even though I’m much older i needed a nap that day too.
Here are some photos of the boys enjoying the beautiful day out of doors…
