My brother threw me a surprise birthday get together (and I was very surprised) it was fun until at the end my bro and I got into a huge argument which made the nigh end on a bad note. I am not huge on surprises at least not where parties are concerned.

I don’t know if this counts but i got so upset with the fact that our property taxes went up this year where as our property value either remained the same or depreciated.

15. Were you in love in 2011?
yes and besides my husband my heart grew to know what it is like to love more than one child. i had wondered if it was possible to love your 2nd child as you do your 1st and i found the answer to that is yes.

becoming a mother of two little boys. also career wise getting set with a 2 days a week job in two offices where I really enjoy going to work and feel appreciated and respected.
21. Biggest disappointment this year?
the amount of weight I gained in my pregnancy with Luke. But I’ve already lost more than half of it and I am working hard to lose it all by summer time.

also my lack of blogging from April to August and more than blogging the slack in photography due to pregnancy induce nausea.

22. What is the one thing that would have made you more satisfied?

I’m can’t think of someone that I just met this year but there is a person I’ve become closer with in this year than before and that is Anka, who moved here a couple of years ago when she married a friend of ours Utu. We have been involved in the same small group and I’ve quickly come to absolutely love this girl. She is very creative and resourceful as well as beautiful and strong and very determined. i admire her greatly and enjoy the time we get to spend together in our little group meetings.
24. A valuable life lesson you learned this year?
cherish the ones you love, no one promises you tomorrow with them. try to always release anger don’t keep in inside talk/communicate with the ones that you have an issue with. learn from my past mistakes and stop repeating them.

not true hardships… some difficult times but we have been so blessed that it feels wrong to answer yes in any way to this question. thank you Lord for providing for all of our needs.
30. Whose behavior merited celebration?
my husband has a very wonderful character in that even when we are fighting he does nice things for me. for example he worked on a walk in closet for me all through his vacation time even though at the time we were not really communicating as I was upset with him for something he had done. i think that might be his way of apologizing as he is not too good at using his words. 🙂
31. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
i’ve got a horrible habit of holding grudges and not letting go of my anger. it takes me forever to talk through disappointments with the person I’m disappointed in. I wish I handled conflict better. I seem to stick to my pattern no matter how much I want to avoid it. maybe I can do better next year.

when I was giving birth to Luke and 10 extra health care professionals rushed into our room. we were informed that baby Luke’s heart beat was not detectable on the monitor. I don’t remember ever being as scared or praying as hard as I did that moment.
